Right Bite Shares it’s Rigorous Precautions to Help Fight Against the Spread of Coronavirus

Here at Right Bite, your health, wellness and safety is of our highest priority and as an ISO 22000 and HACCP certified kitchen, we are committed to food safety. We know you may have concerns about the Coronavirus, so during this time we wanted to take a moment to take you through the steps we are taking to keep both, you and our team, safe and healthy.

We’re in frequent contact with the Dubai Health Authority and are closely monitoring all updates by the World Health Organisation and the European Food Safety Authority to ensure that the actions we’re taking are comprehensive and appropriate.

We uphold the highest standards for hygiene and sanitation, paying special attention to effective hand-washing, using personal protective equipment to prevent contamination, and ensuring strict adherence to all rules and policies. Although studies show that the coronavirus does not survive in food, we’ve added rigorous practices in place at our kitchens to prevent the potential spread of the virus.

We’ve also recently hired an additional quality controller to ensure regular small group trainings to reinforce good food preparation and production practices as well as perform spontaneous spot checks on all staff stations and tasks.

No staff or suppliers enter our kitchens without undergoing our strict checks which have always included:

– wearing disposable hair nets

– wearing disposable, long sleeved coats

– and wearing disposable gloves supplied by us

And recently, we’ve added:

– temperature checks upon entry

– 70% alcohol based, surgical grade, hand sanitizers at every contact point.

All this happens in a triage area before access of the main kitchen area.

Furthermore, we deep clean the whole kitchen on a daily basis. This includes all surfaces and equipment that are used for food production and that are part of the facility. Including walls/ ceiling/ doors/ all handles/ and packaging area. All our surfaces are wiped down using sanitizer, consistently before the prep even commences, in between tasks and after every meal is prepared. We also added an hourly alarm in all parts of the kitchen to remind staff to frequently wash their hands and sanitize their stations between tasks.

Our logistics fleet is also closely monitored and controlled.  All our vans undergo the same hygiene practices as our kitchens. Your cooler bags are sanitized twice per day, upon return and just before being packed and sent out for delivery. This has always been the way we have operated but during this time we feel it is important to make these steps known to everyone.

In addition, all our drivers are implementing contact-less deliveries and have all undergone extra hygiene training as well.

At the Right Bite Express level, we only work with our trusted professional delivery partners who have also all taken extra precautions and safety measures with their drivers and are strictly following government guidelines to ensure your order safely arrives to you for you to enjoy.
