PepsiCo recently launched Aquafina water in Expo 2020 Dubai-cobranded, fully recyclable aluminum cans and glass bottles, offering UAE residents a refreshingly sustainable way to drink water.
The co-branded Aquafina-Expo 2020 Dubai packaging is fully and infinitely recyclable, complete with a minimalist feel and glossy finish. In line with PepsiCo and Expo’s joint commitment to sustainability, the cans and bottles offer an uplifting alternative for eco-conscious consumers, in the lead-up to what aims to be one of the most sustainable World Expos in history.
What’s more, PepsiCo in partnership with Dulsco and Expo 2020 Dubai will also collect and recycle waste generated on site during the six-month event, supporting the Expo’s goal of diverting a minimum of 85% of waste from landfill.
With sustainable food and beverages becoming more important for consumers than ever before, PepsiCo is inviting people to partake in the Say Yes challenge on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
By encouraging all your friends and family to Say Yes, you too can help the planet by joining the challenge, switching to more sustainable options and recycling more.
“Consumers are more motivated than ever before to make conscious choices and minimize their impact on the environment. A good product is no longer enough – products must have purpose and if that purpose is authentic and tangible, consumers will choose it time and again, because the brand cares about what they care about. For us, sustainable packaging and making recycling more accessible, is the way to go as we build a world where packaging never becomes waste”, said Aamer Sheikh, General Manager, PepsiCo MENA and Pakistan.
Aquafina cans are available in modern trade, traditional retailers and eateries across the United Arab Emirates starting from May. Aquafina cans will roll out across the region later this year.
