FPS Food Process Solutions Continues to Invest in US-Based Manufacturing and Services

FPS Food Process Solutions (“FPS”), a global leader in turn-key food processing solutions, further reiterates its commitment to the US market with major investments in US-based manufacturing and services. Amid looming tariffs and geopolitical uncertainty, FPS doubles down on its commitment to US-based customers by increasing capacity and growing manufacturing capabilities and services.

FPS invested in a 140,000 sq ft manufacturing facility located in Saginaw, Michigan to strengthen support for US customers by providing on time parts and service along with flexible manufacturing.

Says Jay Loy, General Manager, US Operations, “We opened our US Headquarters facility three years ago to secure our position as a global leader, supporting the US economy with our large capital investment. We are building up our US team to help manage our expanding manufacturing capabilities, to provide vertical integration for our supply chain. We will optimize our position according to market dynamics.”

Subsidiary GEM Equipment of Oregon is undergoing site renovations to increase manufacturing and office capacity at its Mt Angel facility to 95,000 sq ft. The expansion/additions will include state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for increasing productivity in the US market.

A US-based service center in Idaho was also established due to increasing customer requests for local technical support, bringing timely equipment inspections, servicing and retrofits as well a hub for spare parts inventory. This attention to customer needs further solidifies FPS in the US food equipment manufacturing sector.

“Since 2010, FPS has proven its commitment and loyalty to end users and will continue to provide the highest level of service and support to all customers,” says Jeffrey Chang, President, FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. Continues Chang, “From our Canadian Headquarters, we remain steadfast in continuing our support for all of our global operations including the US. We have always stated that we stand by our customers, and we intend to keep our word.”
