The outstanding product for distribution chains is Parmigiano Reggiano, produced from an integrated, controlled and animal welfare-certified supply chain, and available in different ages, from 12 months up to 40 months and more. Alongside conventional Parmigiano Reggiano, DalterFood Group also offers: Parmigiano Reggiano Prodotto di Montagna (Mountain Product), with its distinctive flavour and aroma thanks to the use of milk exclusively from cowsheds in the mountains, its region of origin and its ancient processing methods, along with Parmigiano Reggiano “solo di Pezzata Rossa Italiana” (only from Italian Pezzata Rossa Cows), a super-premium cheese exclusively made at the Colline del Cigarello e Canossa cheese factory only by using milk from cows of this typical hardy Italian breed reared at the Le Boccede farm on the Reggio Emilia hillside.
