Fans of traditional Saudi cuisine can enjoy an array of authentic local dishes from accomplished female Saudi chef, Ward Tami, at the newly opened voco® Riyadh in the heart of the capital.
Every Tuesday, “Saudi Evening” takes place at the Horizon restaurant between 6.30pm and 11pm, with guests invited to experience the most popular Saudi dishes including a selection of Arab salads, appetizers and sweets, seasoned with original flavours reflecting internationally-trained Ward Tamim’s in-depth knowledge of the authentic local cuisine.
The menu aims to reflect the depth, heritage and diversity of Saudi Arabia with dishes belonging to various regions of the KSA. They include: Gorsan, Girish, Bukhari rice, Kabsa, Al Harees Al Haili, Marquq, Hail Kebbeh, Al Hanini and more.
The 5-star voco® Riyadh, the first voco® hotel in Saudi Arabia’s capital city was opened in November by leading hotel company IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) in partnership with KSA-based developer Wasata Al Wosta Real Estate Co.
