Almarai launched its annual oral and dental health awareness campaign at a ceremony held at Al-Izdihar Hall in Riyadh to educate the community about the importance of oral and dental health and its effects on the individual’s general health, also providing methods on how to maintain a healthy life.
Almarai carries out this campaign annually in cooperation with King Saud University and Princess Noura University, in a continuous partnership last for more than 7 years.
“Health awareness is one of the most important pillars of corporate citizenship of Almarai, the largest food and beverage company in the region,” mentioned Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations Almarai. And he added: “Conducting Partnerships with educational institutions and universities is an approach that Almarai applies in many of its initiatives to develop the society.”
Almarai supported many health awareness initiatives during the past year, including the Health Endowment Fund with 2 million riyals given to King Khalid Hospital in Al-Kharj. Almarai also won Wa’ai award for the best health initiative for employees. The award was organized by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Health Insurance Council, and Almarai also committed on her social media platforms to promote a healthy culture.
